What This Job Is

Class A driving out of Williston, full time. You run tractor-trailers, dump trucks and flatbeds, hauling to customer sites and locations.

You run your own pre-trip and post-trip inspections, keep the paperwork for your routes and deliveries, and stay in touch with dispatch on delivery status and anything that comes up on the road.

It takes a Class A CDL with the endorsements for what you are driving and a minimum of 3 years running commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, side dumps and belly dumps. A manual is preferred.

Duties

• Run commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, dump trucks and flatbeds, hauling to customer sites and locations.
• Pre-trip and post-trip your truck so it is in safe operating condition.
• Keep the paperwork for the routes you run and the deliveries you make.
• Stay in touch with dispatch and the rest of the team on delivery status and anything that comes up on the road.
• Follow the local, state and federal rules for commercial driving.

Where You’d Be

Williston, North Dakota. Arkon Earth Construction does excavation, trucking and civil site work across North Dakota and Montana, with 16 years of experience. They were formerly Storbakken & Sons.

On the trucking side they deliver gravel, aggregate and topsoil to job sites and run heavy hauling for equipment and materials across North Dakota, Montana and the surrounding area.

Pay is $25.75 to $31.01 an hour, full time, with health, dental and vision insurance and a referral program.

What You Need

• A valid Class A CDL with the endorsements for what you are driving
• A minimum of 3 years running different kinds of commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, side dumps and belly dumps, and proven truck driving experience
• Familiarity with a manual is preferred
• Attention to detail, a commitment to safety and good time management on your routes
• Able to pass background checks and drug screenings
