Some of y'all are on the couch right now dreading that Monday alarm. Scrolling your phone. Watching the clock. Mentally preparing for another week of early mornings, long days, and fighting traffic to get home. One more Sunday night before it all starts over.

Then there's the rest of us.

We don't know what day it is. Sunday? Wednesday? Doesn't matter. When you're weeks into a hitch, the days blur together. There's no weekend. No "start" to the week. Just the next shift, the next job, the next ticket.

Both sides sacrifice.

One group misses their evenings. Gets home tired. Sees the kids for an hour before bed. Does it again tomorrow.

The other group misses everything. Birthdays. Holidays. Sunday dinners. Living life through a phone screen until the hitch ends.

Different schedules. Same grind. Same goal, provide for the people counting on us.

Whether you're setting that alarm for 5am or you haven't seen a weekend in weeks, respect. We're all out here putting in work while the rest of the world has no idea what it takes to keep things running.

The oilfield doesn't care what the calendar says.

Which one are you tonight...alarm clock or mid-hitch?
