What The Job Is
- Service and repair heavy trucks, vacuum units, hot oil units and trailers.
- Diagnose engine, hydraulic, air and electrical problems and fix them.
- Preventive maintenance, DOT inspections and keeping units on the road.
- Field calls when a truck goes down on location.
- Keep parts, fluids and service records tracked.
- Shop and field work both. Some days you are under a truck in the yard, some days on a lease road.
What You Need
Own hand tools required. No CDL needed, having one is a plus.
