What This Job Is

High-volume vacuum truck. This is not hydrovac. A hydrovac cuts ground with pressurized water. A supervac lifts fluids and solids off location, and it's a different machine and a different day.

Tank bottoms, pits, spills, drilling mud and wash water. You rig your own suction hoses, work the valves and the blower, then haul to disposal and document every load.

Tank entry and confined space work comes with it. So does shoveling and dragging hose in the mud.

Class A with no automatic restriction. Hazmat a plus, confined space training helps.

Duties

Operate a supervac unit on location, vacuuming and hauling fluids, solids and drilling waste.
Rig up suction hoses, work around tanks and pits, and handle loads in confined and awkward spots.
Haul to the disposal site and document every load.
Pre and post trips, e-logs and field tickets.
Cold weather, night calls and standby work come with the seat.

What You Need

Class A CDL, 2+ years experience, no automatic restriction, a clean MVR and a drug test. Hazmat is a plus. Confined space training helps.

Where Supervac Sits

A good share of hydrovac and vac seats in this basin only ask for a Class B, which surprises people given the weight of the work.
