What This Job Is

Produced water, fresh water and flowback between wells, tank batteries and disposal.

The driving is the part between the work. You're outside on hoses at every stop, connecting and breaking at both ends of every run, watching gauges through the transfer and knowing what a wrong reading means.

Gauge and strap tanks, record volumes, run clean tickets on every load. Spill prevention is on you, not assumed.

You'll be on live locations serving workover rigs alongside other crews.

Castle asks a Class A with no automatic restriction on it.

Duties

• Haul produced and fresh water between wells, tanks, pits and disposal sites.
• Load and offload with your own hoses and valves, in all weather.
• Gauge tanks, record volumes, and keep the paperwork straight for every load.
• Pre and post trips, e-logs, field tickets.
• Lease roads, night runs and winter conditions are part of it.

What You Need

Class A CDL, 2+ years experience, no automatic restriction, a clean MVR and a drug test.

Where Water Hauling Sits

Water hauling is the highest-volume driving seat in the Bakken. Every barrel of oil this basin makes comes with several barrels of water, and all of it moves by truck until it hits a pipeline. That is why the seat is almost always open somewhere.

It is also the seat most guys use to get a year of tanker time before moving to crude, which pays by percentage instead of by the hour. What the rest of the basin pays by role is on the North Dakota pay index.
