What This Job Is

Crude off tank batteries and LACT units to terminals and pipeline injection points.

Gauge and load at the battery, take your samples, watch levels, handle your own hoses and valves. Record volumes before you load.

Be straight with yourself about this part: you'll be outdoors sampling and transferring oil for an hour or more at both ends, in whatever the weather is doing.

Spill prevention is the whole job. Clean loads, clean tickets, no shortcuts.

Class A with hazmat and tanker, both. 2 years recent Class A, 18 speed, current DOT medical card. Winter driving is a requirement here, not a preference.

Duties

Haul crude oil from lease tanks to the terminal or pipeline injection point.
Gauge tanks, take samples and record volumes before you load.
Load and offload with your own hoses and valves, in all weather.
Manual transmission, tanker and hazmat work.
Lease roads, night runs and winter conditions are part of it.

What You Need

Class A with tanker and hazmat in hand. Manual transmission required.

How The Pay Works
