While you were sleeping off New Year's, the U.S. just overthrew Venezuela's government and Trump said we're taking their oil.

Let me put this in perspective for you roughnecks:

Venezuela has 300 BILLION barrels of proven reserves. That's more than Saudi Arabia. More than anyone on Earth.

But here's the kicker...they're only pumping 1 million barrels a day. They used to pump 3.2 million in the 90s before socialism destroyed their industry.

What does this mean for YOU?

Trump literally said "We're going to have our very large United States oil companies go in, spend billions of dollars, fix the badly broken infrastructure."

Translation: American oilfield hands might be heading to Venezuela.

Their pipelines are 50+ years old. Their refineries are falling apart. Their wells are shut in. Everything's fucked.

Know what that means? It means WORK.

But before you start dreaming about $200k a year in Caracas, understand this:

The Real Talk

If this actually happens, we're talking potentially DECADES of work rebuilding an entire oil infrastructure from scratch. Drilling, completions, production, pipelines, refineries...the whole nine yards.

But it's a big IF. A lot of you got burned in the last boom-bust. Don't count your chickens yet.

What I DO know? This changes the game. The world's largest oil reserves potentially opening up to American companies? That's the kind of shit that reshapes the entire industry.

My take? Watch this space. Keep your certifications current. Stay ready. Because if this actually pops off, it'll make the Bakken boom look like a side hustle.

What do y'all think? Would you go work Venezuela if the money was right? Or is it too risky?
