What This Job Is

Side dump work out of TTK’s Watford City yard, hauling gravel, sand and soil to and from construction sites. Full time.

You run your own pre-trip and post-trip inspections, keep the loads balanced and secured, and keep your delivery tickets and logbooks straight.

It takes a CDL with the endorsements a side dump needs and a clean driving record. TTK has housing available.

Duties

• Run a side dump truck hauling gravel, sand and soil to and from construction sites.
• Load and unload with the side dump, keeping the weight spread right and the load secured.
• Inspect the truck and trailer before and after every shift, and report mechanical problems or safety concerns right away.
• Work with dispatch and the site supervisors on delivery schedules, and keep your delivery tickets and logbooks accurate and on time.
• Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized, inside and out.
• Help guide new hires and less experienced drivers when needed.

Where You’d Be

Watford City, North Dakota. TTK Enterprises is a locally owned, family operated outfit founded in 2019, running roustabout, construction, light civil, trucking, contract pumping and hydrovac crews across Western North Dakota.

$28 to $33 an hour.

TTK has housing available if you’re coming from out of the area.

What You Need

• A valid CDL with the endorsements to run a side dump
• A clean driving record with no serious violations or accidents
• Strong driving in all weather and road conditions, and you know the federal and state rules for commercial vehicles
• Able to load and unload by hand when needed, lifting up to 65 pounds
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• A plus: a truck driving program, and defensive driving or hazmat training
